WHO OR WHAT ARE THE X-MISSES?
We're a twisted Christmas supergroup anchored in the sounds of 60s girl groups and 70s rock musicals. Our debut album "Christmas Reminiscences" is out now!
WHY AM I EXCITED?
You're excited because you're tired of hearing the same Christmas music every year! You're tired of songs about sugarplum fairies and winter wonderlands. You want something different; something with dark humor that explores the underbelly of Christmas: a holiday that can never live up to its hype. We often don't get want we wanted or we do and it doesn't fulfill us like we thought it would. You want to hear songs about the irony of bad things happening on a day that is supposed to be the best day of the year.

Because we got some of the best in the business on the job. Musicians who've worked with Jack White, Sheryl Crow, Junior Brown, Beck, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, all recorded at the legendary Cinderella Sound Studio in Nashville. We're bringing together the sound of 60s girl groups with 70s rock musicals, some old school country, and even a little jazz and punk.
